ABOUT GARRETT

Garrett grew up outside Lufkin, TX and earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. Upon graduation he took a position for then Attorney General Greg Abbott, and later transitioned to Personal Aide to Texas Governor Greg Abbott upon his election. In this role he had the opportunity to travel the world alongside Governor Abbott. In 2017, he began his career in commercial real estate, taking a position with Trammell Crow Company in Dallas as a financial analyst on the development and investment team. Garrett most recently worked with JLL as an office broker. Garrett earned his MBA with Finance and Real Estate concentrations from SMU and joined Steeplechase Ventures in 2021.

Garrett and his wife Rachel are members of Christ the King Catholic Church and have two sons, George and Walter. They love to travel, golf, and spend time outdoors.
